This policy explains cookies and similar storage on fairwayr.com, operated by Fairwayr Limited, company number 17301587. Fairwayr Clubs and external services have their own notices.
What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information saved in your browser. They can keep you signed in or remember a choice. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features. Local storage remains until cleared or replaced; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab’s session.
Sign-in and security
We use Supabase authentication cookies when you sign in or use account features. Names typically start with sb- and include a project reference and auth-token; cookies may be split into numbered parts. They maintain and refresh your session so protected pages can recognise you. Expiry depends on the authentication session and refresh settings, and cookies may be renewed during use. Blocking or deleting them can sign you out or prevent account features from working.
Your region preference
When you choose a region, fw_locale_preference remembers whether you selected the UK or Australia. It lasts for up to 365 days and is updated when you choose again. You can change your region using the site’s region selector or delete the cookie in your browser.
Staff-only browser storage
Authorised staff using the outreach tools may have message drafts saved in session storage and test-recipient preferences saved in local storage. These support staff workflows and are not visitor advertising trackers. Drafts normally expire with the tab session; saved preferences remain until replaced or cleared.
Analytics and advertising
Our marketing pages use Google Analytics only after you select Accept analytics. Google receives information about visits, interactions and your device to help us improve the site. Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_C2M1SQN5TH distinguish browsers and sessions. Their configured lifetime is 180 days and may refresh during use. This is separate from retention of information already sent to Google. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our configuration.

Your analytics choice
Reject analytics to continue without optional tracking. You can change or withdraw consent using Cookie settings in any marketing footer. Saving a choice reloads the page. Withdrawal stops analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not undo processing that already occurred.
The first-party cookie fw_site_marketing_consent_v1 remembers your choice for 180 days. We ask again if it expires or is cleared. The local storage entry fw-site-cookie-consent-change stores your choice and a timestamp to notify other open tabs; it remains until replaced or cleared. Choices on fairwayr.club are separate.
External services
Links to payment, social or other external services take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices. Review their notices when using them. This policy does not control storage on another website.
Managing cookies
Your browser settings let you inspect, block and delete cookies and site storage. You can remove saved preferences at any time. Clearing storage may sign you out, reset your region or remove locally saved drafts. Cookie expiry is separate from how long information is retained in our systems.
